The fact that people with secure or avoidant attachment styles can also experience limerence proves that anxious attachment is not necessary or sufficient to explain limerence.”

Someone shared with me that you can be securely attached to someone and behave like a securely attached person; and be insecurely/anxiously attached to another person. At the same time (this person was polyamorous).

Just another perspective.

I guess it’s somehow beneficial to keep voice out confused or upsetting dreams — last night, I had two vivid, absolutely LE and cptsd free dreams.

One was about my current director at a weekend school, she tried to open another business by renting out a large activities space for parents and their kids. I listened to her conversations with this never met COO mother and the banquet they were planning, why? Am I a hungry ghost?

Another was to casually chat with two older male colleagues at work — new faces resembling no one I have ever known. One of them had a very smart, lean, unknown 18 yrs dog, with knowing eyes, his owner praised his independence.

If I follow Jung’s dream analysis theory all the time, I’d be driven mad with so many totally-madeup detailed, vivid images and narratives! I have two lives every single day, should really become a novelist!

Yet as soon as my consciousness returns to me every morning, some sadness or low grade depression related to the LE or cptsd would creep in, pieces of LEs or cptsd memories would clearly surface like a broken record! So I just stayed with them feeling sadness or meditate until they slowly dissipate. (I have “luxury” of not working 9-5.).

Again and again to ME, when the old pains of LE hit, staying with and acutely feeling them was the only way to ease them; each time their degree got reduced. Repetition and “habits” numb everything, joys or pains.

DrL,

Could we have just a few new ‘themed’ ones that stay open (dreams, music, ‘lighter side’ etc)?

That way those of us who want to go that way can, without taking other threads off point. Kind of like 24/7/365 coffeehouses?

Hi All. Sadly, I can’t open blogs one by one – in theory I can close blogs one by one, but obviously doing things that way round would be laborious.

Extended opening hours at the coffeehouse is easier as it had only just passed the 30 day comments duration. Another coffeehouse starts on Saturday.

Thanks all for patience as I figure the comments plan out!

Snow,

At this point, there is nothing I want to say to her and nothing I want to hear from her.

LE,

Imagine this scenario: if you LO2 often dreamed you saving her in her dream narratives (with her unique set of traumas), would she be healed somewhat by her dreams? If she also told you about those dreams, how would you feel, knowing they were just dreams?

I hope so. My monologues to ET and my dreams in which his rescuing me so many times just as I needed in that dream plots/narratives… finally helped healed (almost) my cptsd. I didn’t know/realize it at the time (I studied a litter bit Jung on the summer of 2023).

The dreams I remembered are very vivid with colors, images, narratives, telling me a great deal… now think it back, they were my fortunate capabilities and assets

Now you’ve brought that welder in LwL, who then wore the mask of ET, and making “new” negative memories/reflections in my mind — he even tasted bad now 🤢

Should I believe it’s real/serious❓ the whole challenge of it is that I’d never find out answers… it’s up to my conscious mind to decide… I’m only certain that even in my next life, I would not deal with a welder; so is my unconscious trying to make me to forget ET by making him a welder in my two dreams?
