I’m in Europe right now but will far from there in October.
It would of been great to go!

All the best Dr. L!
A great opportunity to get information out about Limerence.

Hi Snow,

Don’t worry! A bit like you do with other people, sometimes I ask these questions more for you to ponder than expecting a response. There has been plenty else for you to deal with on here this week too. Please just respond if and when you want to and you have time.

The comments are moving fast so I don’t always see all the updates on who has commented on what unless I go looking – so please put any replies to me that you do eventually make at the bottom of the coffeehouse thread, rather than replying further up, as otherwise I might not see them.

By the way – I know (or at least think) you appreciate my corrections on language etc, but I will never do it unprompted, so please ask me directly if there is anything you want me to look at/clarify, and I will. Overall I think you get your message across just fine. Nothing that has happened in your interactions with people on LwL should be blamed on ESL. Others who you chat with can always ask you if there is anything that needs clarifying.

I like to answer some of your thoughtful questions for which I have no/vague answers and which have pushed me to ponder over Whys behind some undeniable facts. If I could get enlightened through our discussions, then it would help understand myself better, and prevent make same mistakes in the future. Two brains always work better than one. LaR,

Thank you! You’re so kind, patient and helpful… Now, I’ll remember my grammar mistakes after being personally and publicly corrected! 😊

Snow,

(Only as you asked)

“If I lived …” (past tense on the conditional when it is purely hypothetical)

“Will you tell us how it goes?”

This is easy for me to say as an English NS, but try not to worry too much about grammar. It is over-rated and your meaning is pretty much always clear.

If I live anywhere in England, I’d try to be at this event. But it’s just impossible to cross the Pond at this time…

Would you tell us how it will have gone? (Did I use the correct grammar here?)

Unfortunately I live very far from London.

Any chance you can find a sponsor to fund an all expense paid promotional trip to London for some deserving limerent or post-limerent?

Think of the review that would get you on Amazon!

Unfortunately I’ll be far from London in 17th, instead hosting my LO and family in my home, it’s really funny that it’s the same day. Actually, I’d rather be in London and hear you talking.
